Newsletter Design

The scope of this project was to create a 6-page newsletter for print that includes 4 articles and a Canada Post shipping label. I chose my newsletter to be about cruising as I am a big fan of cruises. I decided to use ezinearticles.com for my written content, a great site that allows newsletter publishers to find articles to include in their next newsletter. I created a fictional client, “Ahoy”, a cruise agency, that sends out monthly cruise newsletters. I used Indesign for the page layouts and Illustrator for the logo creation.

After I was finished my newsletter design I decided to take it a step further and transform my newsletter for print to an iPad newsletter. The digital publishing software mag+ made it easy to optimize my newsletter for iPads.
